The cover can be removed with platform up or down.

The Main Frame Box contains the electrical & hydraulic systems.

- Full-size pump and motor unit.

- A Pressure Relief Valve helps prevent overloading the platform.

- Cylinder-mounted Flow Control Valves prevent rapid uncontrolled platform descent in the event of a hose failure.

The closed platform will function as a tailgate. The platform insert can be released to allow various materials to be dumped out of the truck body without uninstalling the liftgate or removing the platform.

A Torsion Bar is built into each platform to assist in closing the platform.

New latch pins keep the platform secure when closed.

An operator-friendly lever and pin system releases the platform insert allowing materials to be dumped-through.

Tommy Gate liftgates are compatible with some O.E.M. (Original Equipment Manufacturer) receiver-style trailer hitches. Please note, your O.E.M. hitch may not fit in conjunction with our liftgates. Typically, an after market hitch can be installed with Tommy Gate. Please consult with an authorized Tommy Gate distributor for further information.

Lift N Dump models feature hard-chrome pins and composite bushings at major pivot points in the platform.

150 Amp circuit breaker with manual reset helps protect the electrical system.

Curb-side Fixed Control:
- Toggle style switch
- Steel shield
- Timer deactivates 90 seconds
after last operation (helps prevent
unauthorized use).

The full-length molded ground and power cable provides a direct connection from the liftgate to the truck battery, ensuring solid electrical connections.
